Class Description

Breaking down the internalized ableism we all battle with.

Do you feel comfortable talking about disability?

Do you feel comfortable talking to disabled people?

If applicable, how comfortable are you talking about your own disability?

In this workshop we dive into what ableism is and how internalized ableism can show up for us. From physical disabilities to the invisible, society has shaped a narrative regarding our worth as people.

Who benefits from ableism?
