Class Description

Have you struggled with a sense of purpose? A way to contribute meaningfully in your community? In your dynamic? On your planet?

Join Drummer Pony, an avid gardener with extensive education in permaculture and environmentalism as he discusses service-oriented submission and gardening, serving one's dominant, one's community, and one's Earth.

In this class, we will be analyzing the issue of selfhood and alienation, both from one's environment and from others. We will look at how plant care and D/s can exist as exercises in intimacy and selfhood, and how gardening and kink can be married in ways that benefit not only one's own relationships, but one's greater social and ecological community. Much of this class will be informed by the writings of Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer and her book "Braiding Sweetgrass."
