Many s-types no matter what title they identify with seek to serve, please, and obey with their full being and it is often the thing that they want the most in their dynamics. When a person has PTSD or CPTSD the brain has been wired to find any possible threat and protect the person at all costs from the threat happening again conditioned by previous experience. Being an s-type who has PTSD or CPTSD can make the serving, pleasing, and obeying complicated at times when they are triggered. Being triggered can show up as what might look like disobedience, but underneath is a primal instinct for safety.

Let’s dive into how we can navigate as an s-type with PTSD and CPTSD  in dynamics that exchange power and authority for the benefit of all partners. We will take a look at how it may show up from negotiating the beginning of a dynamic, to long distance dynamics, to living together, and the tools we can potentially use to support each other to the places of submission, surrender, and slavery that we want to live in.

Join slave joy as we examine the potential of dynamics that exchange power and authority to support neurodiversity.

But sometimes those of us that are neurodivergent have difficulties with service and we need to find workarounds. Sometimes, neurodiversity actually helps us to do good service! This panel will be about addressing the struggles and joys of service while neurodivergent and we may all learn something together! Hope to see you there!

Humiliation without Body Negativity

Class Description

Humiliation without Body Negativity

We often associate humiliation with feeling ashamed about our bodies or mind. For those who struggle with body image, that can mean not wanting to engage in humiliation play. But what if you really like being squirmy, shy, and embarrassed in front of people? What if you really want to explore humiliation in a positive way? The reality is that humiliation can be achieved in many different ways, and different tactics make different people “tick.” This class delves into the ways that positive and even affirming language can be used to create humiliation scenes where the bottom doesn’t have to worry about feeling ashamed of their body or intellect.

Presenter Bio:

AJ Renard (she/her) has been involved in the BDSM world her entire adult life, although she was a dark little thing far before that. AJ is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and has a deep passion for teaching about the intersection of BDSM and mental health. She finds her happy place when there is rope, electricity, knives, boots, fear, and a lot of crying involved. In her limited free time she makes custom chainmaille for her shop, Foxy Feisty Redhead.

AJ teaches a variety of classes about consent, negotiations, perspectives on D/s, bottoming for intense scenes and edgeplay, mental health and BDSM, and behavioral science in PE dynamics. Additionally she often teaches about BDSM in non-kink spaces, hoping to de-stigmatize kink for therapists and medical professionals. She also loves demo bottoming for Violet Wand demos, and things that make her shy in front of groups of people.

Pet Space, Decompressing, and Quiet Healing

Class Description

Pet Space, Decompressing, and Quiet Healing

Let's face it- we live in a world where existing can be difficult, painful, and stressful. Being a human can, to say the least, be exhausting. But, what if, for a period of time, you inhabited a headspace that wasn't that of a human! What if, at least for a little while, your brain could take a vacation while you were in pet space. This class will look at pet headspace as a means of decompressing, stress management, and retraining our brains to be kinder to ourselves.

Presenter Bio:
