Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is a common neurodivergent experience especially among ADHD, autistic and trauma-impacted people. In kink and power exchange where vulnerability, feedback and intimacy are central, RSD can deeply shape consent, communication and emotional safety.

This class explores RSD through a neurodiversity-affirming lens, reframing it as a nervous system response rather than a personal failing. We will define it and then examine how RSD shows up in negotiation, D/s dynamics, play and aftercare, as well as how partners can support connection without minimising autonomy or desire. Participants will leave with practical tools for navigating rejection, reassurance and relational rupture while thriving as their full complex selves.

Eating disorders can deeply affect submission, service, and power dynamics, while power exchange can, in turn, impact body image, control, and emotional regulation. This class explores the two-way relationship: how dysregulated eating, body dysmorphia, and shame show up in kink dynamics, and how thoughtful, consensual power exchange can support healing and structure. Participants will learn negotiation strategies, tools for giving and receiving service safely, and ways to use ritual, protocol, and presence to reduce shame, cultivate agency, and improve embodiment. This session emphasizes care, consent, and mutual respect as central to integrating kink and recovery.

I've given consent to not consent, or to consent less to sex, now what? How do I communicate my desires further and keep myself safe as someone who has experienced trauma? How do I keep my mental health a priority when I am 'just a thing'? These are all questions that may permeate the brain space of folks who have determined a dynamic that loosens the boundaries of consent. What happens when you care deeply about individuals but believe humanity as a whole is a doomed, absurd experiment? This class explores the paradox of holding personal compassion while embracing a worldview that feels bleak or detached. Through a mix of psychology, kink philosophy, and dark humor, we examine how nihilism can reduce anxiety, clarify ethics, and deepen service or dominance by stripping away false meaning. We also explore how neurodivergence and trauma shape this mindset, and how choosing kindness can be a deliberate aesthetic or protective practice rather than a belief that the universe cares about us at all. You do not have to believe in the world to love the people standing in front of you.

Black women often carry strength like armor, shaped by history, survival, and the expectation to “keep it together.” While that armor protects us, it can also make it hard to be vulnerable, to feel safe being seen, or to build deep, sustaining connections in community.

This workshop creates a trauma-informed, Black feminist, and Leather-affirming space for Black women to explore vulnerability, boundaries, and trust. We examine how past experiences, including trauma,  shape how we show up, and we learn tools for fostering emotional safety in ourselves and in community.

Through shared storytelling, somatic grounding, and practical strategies, participants practice letting their guard down while honoring their boundaries. This workshop helps cultivate deeper, more authentic, and healthier relationships within Leather spaces and beyond.
