Class Description

Dissociation can show up in kink spaces in ways that are easy to miss or hard to understand. This class offers an accessible introduction to dissociation and plurality (also known as Dissociative Identity Disorder), including what’s happening in the brain during dissociative responses and what dissociation can look like from the outside. Participants will learn practical ways to support someone who is dissociating, including grounding tools, communication strategies, and how to maintain consent and safety when scenes shift unexpectedly. Whether you're a partner, playmate, or person with dissociative abilities yourself, this class provides clear, kink-aware guidance for recognizing dissociation and responding with confidence and care.
