Class Description
Most of us learn aftercare as something you do with a partner: First you share an intense experience, then you take care of each other. Often, however, our partner can’t fill that need: They have another play date, they’re a hundred miles away, they're dysregulated, what you want isn’t something they can provide — or you’ve been playing solo, and a partner isn’t in the picture at all. This trauma-informed, consent-focused class offers tools and exercises for feeling and naming our aftercare needs, experimenting with different techniques, finding a routine that works, and improving aftercare communication with partners and others who need to know.
